![]() ![]() I think i found a really cool and really awesome build for NG+ (maybe this build is main stream, IDK):Īrmor: Long Beard armor set and made a lot of embedments to have it focus on building up spirit (deflecting, melee hits, etc.), upping critical shots, burning accumulation, and upping earth and fire damage. Starting with 2 fire to get Fire Bolt, 3 earth to get the AoE, 12 Metal to reach the Toxic weapon buff, and finishing off with 7 fire.Īnyways, this is the theory I came up with while building up 3 characters. That and it also boosts the damage to bows while also eventually giving you access to invisibility (which is questionable since you need so much morale for it).īut, as far as the Demo is concerned, the best stats are 7 fire, 3 earth, and 12 Metal. Then Water is the stat that works for the two best weapon types in the game by far, the Ring Pommelled Swords and the Dual Swords. But 40 is the stat you need to unlock the invisible shield that absorb damage. ![]() The bonus armor along with metal's attack down is rather quite substantial so it does help when going to apply the Toxic and Fire DoTs. Both are exceedingly good at applying Fire DoT, which can guarantee you a large amount of damage after only a few hits.Įarth to 3 early on because it has an AoE to push enemies away, a defense boost, and the defense boost also makes it so lighter attacks don't flinch you. Basically with Toxic and Attack down you are given a guarantee to Toxic DoT after hitting the enemy a certain amount of times with the melee weapon, especially with dual wield weapons.įire to 12 only for the Fire Bolt and Fire buff. Metal to 12 provides you with Toxic weapon buff and enemy attack down. In theory, optimal stats seem to be 12 Fire, 40 Earth, and 12 Metal then Water until 99. If you want to do some very good damage, you're going to level Metal and Fire to 12 first while also investing at least 3 points into Earth. Idk which other weapons scale with Wood yet. Depends a bit on the Martial Arts, which weapons I will go with but the Staff is so cool. But since I will have Wood and Fire probably and want to switch weapons mid-combo I need both Phases to be high. Gives ultra high mobility and i-Frames.Įdit: Going for two weapons with the same scaling Phases would be the best imo. Water Phase, there, I think the Blink/Teleport spell is awesome. In the other Phases I will invest periodically, e.g. I think I am going for the Staff (Wood primary) and Dual Halberds (Fire primary) that will help my overall HP, Damage and Martial Arts resource management. You're not only increasing HP, Damage and Defense when going into all Phases but on top support your weapon scale damage directly. For example, if you play an Earth Phase build and have 1 in Fire you miss out on a lot of potential damage because Fire Phase is the main damage Phase apart from your weapon scaling of course.Īdditionally, every weapon at least in the demo scales with at least 3 Phases. I still think that a good foundation like 5-10 in each Phase helps out a lot because of the bonuses received across the board.
